Westwood Chapter
The National Honor Society for Dance Arts is an application and audition based performance group that consists of students in grades 9-12. Members of the group learn and perform jazz, modern/ contemporary, ballet, lyrical, and hip-hop dance styles on campus and throughout the community. Students also assist in hosting Dance Department events. Continued academic achievement and exceptional behavior are requirements for maintaining membership in the performance group. Inducted seniors in good standing have the opportunity to graduate with honor recognition. The Westwood Chapter was chartered February 16, 2016 through the National Dance Education Organizations and is under the Artistic Direction of Ms. V. Stribling, M.Ed. (WHS Dance Educator).
